This is as close to an "official" Bob Krick site that you will ever see, but it is neither edited nor maintained by Professor Corporal Krick himself. Contrary to what you may have heard or seen on BookTV, Bob is not a professor at the University of Alabama - or anywhere else.

 

While he reluctantly contributed some content, he is decidedly indifferent to technology in general - and most especially to his "web presence".

 

This is, in fact, an unofficial (but tepidly authorized) site built primarily for my amusement - and that of his other friends (few though they may be).  There is some whimsy, but it is tempered by real content. The CV, the publications, and the schedule really are Bob's. The editorial content and comments are mine. The photographs of "Old Pete" Krick and Rooney Krick were recently discovered in Texas.

 

Any contact from this site to Bob will go through me - maybe. Bob is incurious and unconcerned about this site - and any contacts that it might prompt.  If you're a long-lost relative with a million bucks to give him, Bob might respond. Likewise, if you have some ephemeral Confederate imprint (or TJ Jackson's wartime diary) to give him - he might just bite. Otherwise, don't count on it - he is a right smart curmudgeonly old fellow, after all.

 

Don't blame Bob. He is a retired, ersatz Virginia gentleman awaiting his dotage. (for those who are counting, that's two "'erstaz"s - now three)
